The Pawtucket-Central Falls train station has been abandoned for nearly 4 decades now. This historic building, guarded by barbed wire, has seen better days. Windows have been replaced with panels of wood and the walls have been defaced with graffiti. While it is still structurally sound, it is clear that people should probably not be exploring this station. That didn’t stop us though. The concord where people bought tickets and awaited the arrival of their trains must have been quite a stunning site in its heyday. You can almost see the benches lining a walkway from the front entrance to the rear of the building.
